The phrase "average duration per" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing the typical length of time associated with a specific activity or event, often in contexts like statistics, research, or performance metrics.
Example: "The average duration per session was found to be 45 minutes, indicating a consistent engagement level among participants."
Alternatives: "mean time per" or "typical duration for".
We also found a significant difference in average duration per visit of 1.30 min (not reported in the table).
