Data on NAP were collected from grazed plots by measuring the average dry weight of the harvested aboveground biomass (sun-drying, and oven-drying at 40 °C for 48 h) of randomly located 1-m2 movable exclosures at monthly intervals between May and August.
Elevated Ca increased season-long average dry weight (DWS; crown, shoots) by 14% (P = 0.02), whereas deficit irrigation reduced DWS by 7% (P = 0.06), although these values may have been affected by a short but severe pea aphid [Acyrthosiphon pisum (Harris)] infestation.
The average wet weight of the rice plant varied from 0.00 g in CRZ to 29.19 g in RZ, whereas average dry weight varied from 0.00 in CRZ to 7.18 g in YZ.
Average wet weight of the wheat plant varied from 4.03 g in CRZ to 8.49 g in YZ, whereas average dry weight varied from 0.67 g in CRZ to 2.98 g in RZ (Fig. 11).
Plant biomass reduction was calculated by subtracting the average dry weight of plants grown in waterlogging conditions from that in the control, then dividing by the average dry weight in the control.
However, sdp1-5 seeds had an average dry weight of around 22 μg per seed, containing 7.17 μg of total FAs.
Average dry weight of a single egg was calculated and further considered as a measure of egg quality since more nutrients are expected in heavier eggs [ 59, 60].
From these variables, number of fruits per plant, peduncle length and fruit average fresh weight not showed significant differences between populations but only fruit average dry weight showed significant differences (Table 2) with higher values the fruits collected in Los Gatos plants, followed by Santiago (Table 3).
On average, tuber dry weights and tuber growth rate were higher in the post-rainy season compared to the early-rainy season.
The soil specific gravity, average void ratio, and average dry unit weight were found to be 2.73, 0.95, and 15.40 kN/m3, respectively.
