The average doses for GTVnx, GTVln-L/R, CTV1, CTV2, and CTVln were 72.6 Gy, 68 Gy, 66 Gy, 58 Gy, and 53 Gy, respectively (Table 2).
It helps to show potential benefits of higher and lower than average doses for individual patients, and possibly highlights different criteria for determining effective or licensed doses.
