To date, Twitter's TV applications – which are also now available on Fire TV, Xbox One and, most recently, Roku – have been designed to feature Twitter's live video content, much of it coming from the company's numerous content deals.
A feature called X-ray, which is what Amazon calls its book supplemental info tool on Kindle, is available on Fire TV, making it possible for you to call up associated metadata for whatever you're watching, including release date, actors, directors and more on your Kindle Fire tablet, fi you have one and it's synced to the Fire TV.
Hulu's Live TV service, the expanded version of Hulu launched in May which provides access to live television in addition to Hulu's existing on-demand library, is now available on Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick.
In addition, Amazon says it will now offer Bluetooth headphone support for Fire TV Stick devices, which was previously available only on Fire TV devices.
Netflix has a 4K service and this will be available on the Fire TV box soon.
Speaking of apps, the selection of streaming services available on the Fire TV in the UK is second only to the Roku, with favourites such as BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, Demand 5, YouTube, Netflix and BBC Sport all present.
There is currently little information available on the fire endurance of FRP-strengthened concrete systems.
You can also watch movies through Netflix or Hulu Plus, which both have apps available on the Fire.
"Since launch we've increased the number of services available on Amazon Fire TV by more than 4x," said Peter Larsen, Vice President Amazon Devices, said in a released statement.
The FreeTime app and subscription-based FreeTime Unlimited service, which is $2.99/month for Prime members or $2 more for non-members, will be available on compatible Fire tablets, and iOS devices via a software update arriving on October 4. It will hit Android soon after.
With this option available on Kindle Fire devices, parents can block access to specific apps, services, purchases, social features and more, as well as set time restrictions and even set educational goals before allowing kids to play games or watch cartoons.
