To accommodate the thin coal seam (1.7 2.5 m) intelligent mining problem in Huangling No.1 coalmine, as shown in Fig. 9, we address the following problems: automatic continuous mining in complicated coal seam, automatic supporting in the working face end and forward section, intelligent perception and steady transmission, mining height intelligent decision control and system reliability, etc.
