We argue that the combination of such complete electron trajectory simulations in the whole TEM column with automatic optimization of the microscope parameters for optimal experimental data (images, diffraction, spectra) allows drastically simplifying the implementation of complex experiments in TEM and will facilitate the development of advanced use of the electron microscope in the near future.
A K-means clustering method was used to implement the automatic optimization of layer regrouping.
To obtain this result, an automatic optimization of control parameters is implemented.
FIAlab software version 5.9.321 was used for computer control and automatic optimization of the aspirated volume of both samples and reagents.
However, our approach not only allows rapid, automatic optimization of the stability constant, but also allows determination of uncertainties in estimated parameter values and statistical analysis to assess the appropriateness of the conceptual model.
The main aim of this paper is the development of a platform-tool to support the automatic optimization of a steel structure using virtual prototyping tools and genetic algorithms.
An overview is given of studies performed and results obtained for this design so far, of its advantages and disadvantages, and of future plans for improved automatic optimization of the design.
The procedure is aimed at offering a conceptual-interpretative approach to energy analysts, to identify preferential routes in networks' retrofit (and exclude the least promising improvement directions of the existing network); it should be therefore conceived as alternative to algorithms for automatic optimization of heat exchanger networks.
