The phrase "authored material" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to refer to content that has been created or written by a specific author or group of authors.
Example: "The conference will feature a discussion on the importance of citing authored material in academic research."
Alternatives: "written works" or "original content".
Far better to trust professors to take only an amount that is FAIR when they use other authors' material in their coursepacks.
