The bio-augmentation studied here aimed to enhance the nitrification process of highly loaded activated sludge systems.
It is found that inclusion of transverse shear rigidity, as a design parameter in damping augmentation studies, reduces settling time for predetermined maximum peak displacements.
Other open augmentation studies found higher rates of akathisia than this study, which may be due to the higher doses used.
Such elements include the definition of treatment resistance, methods to document previous failed treatment trials, selection of appropriate research populations, measurement of relevant clinical outcomes, tactical issues in delivering the experimental treatment (such as dosages and durations), and trial design choices (for example, switching vs. augmentation studies).
2) POTSII is an augmentation study.
Additional data from augmentation studies support the efficacy of citalopram for the treatment of OCD [ 727, 728].
