The phrase "augmentation of pain" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used in medical or psychological contexts to describe an increase in the sensation of pain.
Example: "The patient reported an augmentation of pain following the recent treatment, indicating a need for further evaluation."
Alternatives: "increase in pain" or "escalation of pain".
