The phrase "augmentation follows" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used in contexts where you are indicating that an increase or enhancement will occur subsequently.
Example: "In this study, we will first analyze the data, and then augmentation follows to improve the results."
Alternatives: "enhancement occurs" or "increase comes next."
