The phrase "atypical size" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to describe something that is not typical or standard in terms of its dimensions or proportions.
Example: "The sculpture was crafted in an atypical size, making it stand out in the gallery."
Alternatives: "unusual size" or "nonstandard size".
