The phrase "attitude statements" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to refer to expressions or declarations that convey a person's feelings, beliefs, or stance on a particular issue.
Example: "In our discussion, we should focus on the attitude statements made by the participants to understand their perspectives better."
Alternatives: "belief statements" or "opinion statements".

We created an overall stigma score, assigning one point for each agreement with a negative attitude statement, and one point for each disagreement with a positive attitude statement.
