For smokers who made a quit attempt in the prior 12 months, we compared use of a telephone quitline for support.
For those who made a quit attempt in the prior 12 months, only a small proportion in both groups reported using a telephone quitline to support quit efforts, with a significantly lower proportion of nurses reported using a quitline when compared to other women (0.6% vs. 3.4%, p < 0.0001).

In the suicide attempter group, there were seven adolescents with one, two with two, and one with three or more suicide attempts in the prior year.
