The fear is that value-at-risk systems force investment firms and banks to offload securities, leading to price falls and further sales.
But the FOP has also opposed the creation of an "at risk" or early warning system for officers against whom many complaints are lodged.

The fact that many children in the city school system are "at risk" does not absolve the state of the duty to afford them an adequate education.
Like a lot of companies, the world's largest maker of mining and construction equipment has adopted what is known as a "pay-at-risk" compensation system, which ties a percentage of nearly every non-union employee's income to Caterpillar's financial performance.

Those with older versions, however, might still be at risk with unsupported systems — as compelling a reason as any to consider an upgrade.
