We aimed to identify subgroups at highest exposure.
The 1997 IARC review identified four groups at highest exposure (see below), and emphasized the importance of the results in these groups (IARC, 1997; Steenland et al., 2004).
It should be noted that using log transformed power models to "accommodate leveling-off at highest exposure levels" might be useful for getting a better fitting model with smaller p-values, but there is no plausible biological reason why the dose-response would level off if DE were a real causative agent or why HRs would remain below 1.0 below 1000 REC.
As already noted (Cole et al., 2003), the update of the US cohort study produced negative results overall; the internal analysis provided evidence of an increased risk in the category at highest exposure, with a statistically significant exposure-response association in some of the many analyses performed.

Presumably the DEMS authors are referencing an increased over-estimation of exposure at highest exposures which could reduce estimated ORs.
The Statue of Liberty is at "high exposure" risk from increasingly punishing storms.
Pooled odds ratio (OR) of mortality at high exposure values versus low exposure values was estimated.
These molecules could be the precursors of heavier hydrocarbons and nitriles identified in our experiments at higher exposure times.
For the Ag ENMs with different size ranges, differences in behavior and/or effect were only observed at high exposure concentrations.
Surprisingly, Ag was found to stimulate gill Cu binding especially at high exposure concentrations, whereas, Cu had no effect on gill Ag binding.
This may lead to precipitation of pyrite and, at high exposure of anhydrite to the circulating fluid, of hematite scaling in the geothermal installation.
