A direct comparison between Od and Hz peaches at harvest and at the different cold storage periods (CS1 and CS2) was carried out in order to identify genes differentially expressed in between the two cultivars and thus, eventually, to discover genes involved in chilling injury resistance/sensitivity at pre-symptomatic stage.
