The agreed assumptions, model design and formulation, and the specific question to be answered by an energy model, form the basis for the calculation of energy scenarios.
This study adopts nested models to verify the validity of the above assumptions: Model 1 is the base model in which independent variables consist of background variables, demographic variables, general human capital variables, and economic capital variables.
It is important on such step to describe: model assumptions, model description (e.g. rule-based models list the rules produced in addition to their accuracy and coverage), and results assessment (e.g. why a certain modeling technique and certain parameter settings led to good or bad results).
