It can be used in contexts where one is discussing the importance of recognizing or incorporating diverse perspectives or elements in a situation or analysis.
Example: "In our project, we must assume diversity to ensure that all voices are heard and represented."
Alternatives: "embrace diversity" or "acknowledge diversity".
