This data analysis was performed using the software package NONMEM version VI (SL Beal and LB Sheiner, San Francisco, CA, USA) with pooling of data from patients administered R115777 continuously and intermittently, which was carried out in order to increase the power of detecting any significant association in view of the small sample size.
