The phrase "association project" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to refer to a project that is related to or organized by an association, typically in a professional or community context.
Example: "The association project aims to improve local community engagement through various outreach programs."
Alternatives: "collaborative project" or "partnership initiative".
This new alphabet, however, is more than just a bizarre word association project.
