It can be used in contexts discussing childbirth methods that involve medical assistance, such as in hospitals or with midwives.
Example: "The hospital offers a variety of options for assisted births, ensuring the safety and comfort of both mother and child."
Alternatives: "aided deliveries" or "supported childbirths".
