The following subjects were excluded: (1) who were younger than 60 years (n = 24); (2) whose serum DHEAS concentrations had not been measured (n = 112); (3) whose serum C-reactive protein (CRP) concentrations had not been measured (n = 4); (4) Subjects whose hand was injured and subjects who cannot walk by themselves or by the assistance of others or instruments were excluded (n = 8).
