The phrase "assistance in the final" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when referring to help or support provided during the final stages of a process, project, or event.
Example: "We appreciate your assistance in the final stages of the project, as it has been crucial to our success."
Alternatives: "help in the conclusion" or "support in the final phase".
That roster produced a better record (11-5) and a more balanced offense, and secured a playoff berth without requiring assistance in the final week.
