The total synthesis of aculeatins A, B, E and F confirming the assigned absolute configuration of recently isolated aculeatins E and F is documented.
The examined frame is divided into 16 × 16 blocks, and blocks with very low texture are assigned the configuration of (β a,β b ) = (0,1); the rest are assigned (0.01,0).
