The objective of this meta-analysis was to assess incentive effectiveness on response to electronic health surveys.
Four studies were conducted among injection drug or cocaine users (Malotte 1998; Malotte 1999; Chaisson 2001; Malotte 2001), three among homeless or marginally housed adults (Pilote 1996; Tulsky 2000; Tulsky 2004), two studies in prisoners (White 1998; White 2002), and one assessed incentives given to adolescents aged 11 to 19 years (Morisky 2001).
