The high-quality reads were then assembled using the Cufflinks program [ 32], and 35,272-42,377 assembly transcripts were obtained; the size of the assembly transcripts varied from 50 to 5000 bp [see Additional file 2], with an average size of 1,264-1,590 bp and N50 of 1,547-2,007 bp (Table 3).
