In the past, electron beam lithography (EBL) has helped us to demonstrate that by optimizing the nanostructure assembly parameter, enhancement factors estimated at 10 5 to 10 7 could be obtained for such proteins as bovine serum albumin (BSA) or RNase-A [11].
