This known history of Yellowstone ungulates presents an ideal system for testing the ability of time-averaged death assemblages to record the composition and species-level dynamics of temperate terrestrial ecosystems on decadal to centennial scales.
In order to illustrate functional changes between 2004 and 2011 across the gradient of summits, we calculated the CTWM for the assemblages of plants recorded in the upper and lower SASs at every summit, for each of the four traits.
The morphometric (CM) and assemblage (%GEO) records of coccoliths are both showing similar rapid changes as well as a long-term decrease over the last 2700 years (Fig. 6).

These assemblages are records of time-averaged deposition of multiple activities in these persistent places in the landscape.
Arpaio's "posse" was an assemblage of individuals with impeccable objective track records.
Recorded with an assemblage of jazz heavies, it's full of tiny, impressive gestures, bendable songwriting and casually assured arrangements.
It contains a substantial assemblage of bryophytes with over 120 species recorded including the nationally rare Bryum canariense and the very rare Amblystegiella confervoides.
But the Residents were more than shock polemicists: they were artists, and their records were a completely new assemblage of samples, loops, musique concrete and bizarre tonalities.
Serpentinite clasts are found in the pebbly sandstone matrix of Fig. 10d, and the tremolite-bearing metamorphic assemblage of some of these clasts (Fig. 11a) records a higher temperature metamorphism than the prehnite-pumpellyite metamorphic assemblages of the host rock and the other blocks observed.
The record, which is an excellent assemblage of soigné R. & B., received almost unanimous praise and spread faster than any of his previous work.
