The alignment of contigs to transcripts was performed by BLAT (Kent, 2002) without considering long gaps representing introns (as we aligned contigs to transcripts instead of genome).
Just as we aligned the time of measurements relative to the time of an event, we can similarly align measurements to the age of a child and explore how the magnitude of response is associated with the child's age.
