The phrase "as it demonstrably" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when you want to indicate that something is clearly or obviously demonstrated or proven.
Example: "The results of the experiment were significant, as it demonstrably supports the hypothesis."
Alternatives: "as it clearly" or "as it evidently".
But it suits Channel 4's purpose, and gives it greater brand potency, if they can define Radio 4 as something it demonstrably isn't.
