The phrase "as I highlighted" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when referring to something that has been emphasized or pointed out previously in the text.
Example: "The main issue, as I highlighted, is the lack of communication among team members."
Alternatives: "as I pointed out" or "as I mentioned".
