The phrase "as far cry" is not correct in written English.
The correct expression is "a far cry" which is used to indicate a significant difference or distance between two things.
Example: "The new product is a far cry from the original version, showcasing many improvements."
Alternatives: "a significant difference" or "a long way from".
Here's where I'm picturing bandit/cannibal camps as Far Cry style outposts.
