The phrase "as earners" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing individuals or groups in the context of their income-generating capabilities or roles.
Example: "In our analysis, we found that women are increasingly participating in the workforce as earners, contributing significantly to household income."
Alternatives: "as income generators" or "as wage earners".
