The phrase "as does the contrary" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to indicate that something is true in the same way that an opposing idea or situation is also true.
Example: "The evidence supports the theory, as does the contrary, which suggests that alternative explanations must also be considered."
Alternatives: "as does the opposite" or "as does the alternative".
