The phrase "as distant time" is not correct and does not convey a clear meaning in written English.
It may be intended to refer to a time that is far away or removed, but the phrasing is awkward and unclear.
Example: "As distant time passed, the memories began to fade."
Alternatives: "in the distant past" or "in a far-off time".
