The phrase "as a greater factor" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when comparing the significance or influence of one element over another in a particular context.
Example: "In the success of the project, teamwork was identified as a greater factor than individual contributions."
Alternatives: "as a more significant element" or "as a more important aspect".
Groceries are a great factor in this strategy as… well, a girl's gotta eat.
