Nanoindentation hardness as a function of periodicity, λ, has been measured for Zr/Nb multilayers.
The preceding experiments yield understanding of the comparative behaviour of exploratory and confirmatory approaches to period estimation as a function of the degree of periodicity in the underlying sequence.
When coupling SPR through a grating, as in Figure 1, several coupling events can occur between SP1 and SP2, as a function of the chosen grating periodicity, P G. Figure 7 presents the EM-field intensity distribution, calculated 1 nm below the metal layer, as a function of the in-plane wavevector k x and the grating wavevector k G = 2π/P G.
Additionally, the transmission phase profile defining the form birefringence was calculated as a function of the periodicities P i (i = x,y) at the wavelength λ = 1.49 μm.
Just as the BE antenna reaches at resonance its highest directivity compared to a SH, as presented in Figure 3c, the gain G estimated along the optical axis (θ = 0) reaches its highest value at resonance, with an evolution displayed in Figure 4b as a function of the antenna periodicity.

It is shown that the periodicity in the standard electrode potential as a function of atomic number arises from the periodicity in the enthalpy term which is used to calculate standard electrode potentials from the equivalent thermodynamic cycle.
With this intention, the periodicity of measurements was checked at the eastern and western stations separately, as shown in Fig. 5. Single stations located in the eastern part (Fig. 5) present π / 2 periodicity as a function of backazimuth (supplementary Figs. S3, S4).
A simple model was designed to simulate the NMR signal as a function of the wave frequency excitation and the periodicity of the NMR pulse sequence.
In panel A, the strengths of the periodicities in the three sequence sets were examined as a function of increasing sequence reads since nucleosome sequences that are characterized by a higher number of reads presumably correspond to DNA sequences with higher affinity for the histone octamer and/or higher positioning activity.
