AFM and SEM methods permitted to find that in the range of nanoscale, arrays of holes and mounds are generated on a (111) MCT surface as a result of the normal incident ion bombardment.
The results of topometry based on AFM measurements show that in the range of nanoscale, arrays of holes and mounds are generated on a (111) MCT surface as a result of the normal incident ion bombardment.
It was found that in the range of nanoscale, arrays of holes and mounds on Hg0.777Cd0.223Te (111) surface as well as the polycrystalline Hg1 − x Cd x Te cubic phase with alternative compound (x ~ 0.20) have been fabricated using 100 keV ion beam irradiation of the basic material.
Thus, from the results of AFM, XRD, and XPS measurements, it was found that in the range of nanoscale, arrays of holes and mounds on MCT (111) surface as well as the polycrystalline MCT cubic phase with alternative compound (x ~ 0.20) and a new phase of metal-oxide (Ag2O) have been fabricated using 100 keV ion beam irradiation of the basic material.
It was found that in the range of nanoscale, arrays of holes and mounds on Hg1 − x Cd x Te (111) surface as well as the polycrystalline Hg1 − x Cd x Te cubic phase with alternative compound (x ~ 0.20) and a new phase of metal-oxide (Ag2O) have been fabricated.
The room looked as if it was already full of reports, along with, despite Mr. Falcón's cantankerous nature, a large array of congratulatory plaques and awards and mounds of bric-a-brac, including a plastic replica of a plate of rice and beans.
This explains the observation of mounds at this fluence.
The resultant map of the identified mound fields shows the coalescence of adjacent mounds (Fig. 3a), the mounds superimposed just on the faults (Figs. 3a, 4c), and the relatively high spatial density of mounds in certain areas (e.g., 61 mounds in a 13 km2 area).
Mound building activities changed soil particle size distribution, with the silt and clay content of mounds higher than for non-mound soil.
A large concentration of mounds in several groups is preserved at Effigy Mounds National Monument.
