Our structural and biochemical analysis reveals that the interface between the Ubl and RING1 domains is crucial for parkin's regulation by remotely altering the arrangement of the RING0/RING1 interface, giving rise to a compact conformation.
Cluster conversion results in a re-arrangement of the dimer interface, leading to monomerization [ 10].
