The phrase "arming status" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used in contexts related to military, security, or technology, referring to the readiness or condition of a weapon or system to be activated.
Example: "The technician checked the arming status of the missile system before the launch."
Alternatives: "readiness state" or "activation status".
