Clashes along the Azerbaijan-Armenia border have intensified in recent weeks, with soldiers killed on both sides.
During the Nagorno-Karabakh War, clashes occurred between Armenian and Azeri forces in the Nakhichevan-Armenia border, however, the war did not spill over into Nakhichevan.
