The phrase "argument as set out" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when referring to a specific argument that has been previously presented or detailed in a document or discussion.
Example: "The conclusion of the paper is based on the argument as set out in the earlier sections."
Alternatives: "argument as presented" or "argument as outlined".

As suggested above (section 4.1), one compatibilist strategy is to sidestep the debate over the truth of the second premise of the Classical Incompatibilist Argument as set out in section 2.1: If determinism is true, no one can do otherwise.
