The phrase "are only sensible" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing the rationality or practicality of certain ideas, actions, or behaviors.
Example: "In this situation, the options we have are only sensible if we consider the long-term consequences."
Alternatives: "are merely reasonable" or "are just logical".
