The phrase "approximately the same results" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing outcomes or findings that are similar but not identical in nature or measurement.
Example: "After conducting the experiments, we found that both methods produced approximately the same results in terms of efficiency."
Alternatives: "roughly equivalent outcomes" or "about the same findings."
The two methods give approximately the same results for the estimation of sampling rate.
The other joints had approximately the same results with a mean of 7° residual contracture.
The design procedure gives the optimum structure for a given ternary separation; with given product specifications various design methods can yield approximately the same results.
