Genetic marker development for tomato has been conducted over 30 years through various approaches, including restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP), random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD), amplified fragment length polymorphisms (AFLPs), simple sequence repeat (SSR), cleaved amplified polymorphisms (CAPs), and conserved ortholog sets (COSs).
RE-based approaches include restriction-site associated DNA sequencing (RAD-seq) (Baird et al. 2008), complexity reduction of polymorphic sequences (CRoPS) (Van Orsouw et al. 2007), and genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS) (Elshire et al. 2011).
Recently, some high-throughput approaches are developed for the large-scale analysis of multiple CpG islands including restriction landmark genomic scanning, differential methylation hybridization [ 17], and methylation specific oligonucleotide microarray [ 18].

Current legislative approaches to alcohol control in Sri Lanka are overseen by the National Alcohol Authority and include restriction of licensed sales of taxed alcohol to adults over 21 years of age, restriction of sales on certain religious holidays, banning of any advertising, sports sponsorship and no free distribution of alcohol at events.
