Twelve of a total of 22 inpatients were not approached due to confusion, dying, distress, or being unavailable at the time.The combined data from both phases of data collection revealed that 53% of inpatients at the time of PSQ administration were deemed suitable to approach for PSQ completion.
Thirdly, the method used to approach HIV organisations for completion of the survey resulted in multiple submissions from some but not from others, thus ruling out comparability between states or organisations.
