The different amount of information available for DYD was accounted for by applying weighting factors to DYD.
In many ways, the detail of the process is like a black box, with very little published information on quantification algorithms and applied weightings.
If only stations very near the electrojet are used, AMM can have uniform station weighting as indicated in the table, however (for example, in the second example below, with further discussion in the Appendix), it is also possible to judiciously apply weightings.
