The phrase "applying the same threshold" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used in contexts where a consistent standard or limit is being implemented across different scenarios or datasets.
Example: "In our analysis, we are applying the same threshold to ensure uniformity in our results."
Alternatives: "using the same criteria" or "employing the same standard".
