The model is applied to prescribe the martensite and austenite start temperatures in Fe-, Ti- and Co-based alloys with no adjustable parameters.
We have developed a set of explicit prescribing criteria called PROMPT (PRescribing Optimally in Middle-aged People's Treatments) which may be applied to prescribing datasets to determine the prevalence of PIP in this age-group.
Explicit criteria are developed from literature reviews, expert opinion and consensus, require little or no clinical judgement, and can be applied to prescribing datasets in the absence of clinical information [ 7, 8].
