It can be used when discussing observations or findings related to the interaction between two or more entities, such as in scientific or analytical contexts.
Example: "The study suggests that the new drug appears to interact with the target protein, potentially enhancing its effectiveness."
Alternatives: "seems to engage with" or "appears to connect with".
